Every Wednesday evening at 6:00pm we meet at the Campus
Christian Center. This is a time of fellowship and friendship.
Each meeting we have a little bible study and topic discussion.
We debate hot issues, give examples from our personal lives, and
find the means to apply what we have learned to our daily
routines. Right now we are studying the Book of Luke.
About twice every month we have dinner at 5:15 right before the
gathering time. Dinner is prepared by members of the ministry.
Yummy!
Worship services are held at 8:00 and 10:30 every Sunday morning at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. A group of us from LCM normally attends the 10:30 service. There is fellowship afterwards with coffee and cookies.
Once a month (in place of bible discussion at) we get together at 5:15 at the Campus Christian Center for dinner and worship. The services vary from a Taize style service to Holden Evening Prayer. Sometimes we have a special service by one of the members.
Where do christian values appear in modern movies? Every now and then we get together to watch a recent movie and then evaluate it based on how it made us feel and react as christians. We discuss the movie from different standpoints and debate the controversial issues that might come up with each one. Feel free to bring your own treats to share, but popcorn and drinks are normally provided.
